Are underwear billboard images degrading to women?
WE ask an underwear model and an author whether they think underwear billboard images are degrading to women. ADVERTISING standards bosses say billboard images of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in her undies don’t degrade women. But should women be outraged? I don’t think what I do is in any way degrading. “As a model, you’re showing the designer’s collection. The photos and shows that I do in underwear are aimed at women, so they can see what the collection looks like on a real person.
